Terms and Conditions - 3am Threads

Preorder

- Preorder processing can be 6-12 weeks for printing and freight plus packing and postage time, which begins the date the preorder closes, not the date you order.

- Changes to your order may be made up to 6 hours after the end of the preorder round ends (dates in the site banner) - after this no changes can be made.

- Please do not order in stock and preorder fabric together. If you do, you may incur a further shipping charge - we will not hold retail fabric until the preorder arrives and it will be sent separately

- Occasionally our supplier may not have the fabric base required, or there will be a minimum order requirement. If we do not reach this or they don't have it, you'll be offered the option of swapping for another base or refunding that part of your order.

General

- Colours can vary between fabric bases and type due to the printing process. PUL in particular prints darker than colours appear on screen.

- Mock ups are for demonstration purposes only and may not be to scale

- Product colours may vary screen to screen.

- Scale is marked on each image. Please check and consider your product and whether the scale is suitable before purchasing, and get in touch if it's not - we're often able to change the scale just for you!

- We’re only human! Fabric is cut by hand so lines may not be perfectly straight.

- We can not guarantee continuous fabric lengths. If you require continuous fabric please leave a note on your order and we will do our best to accommodate. Larger orders may be supplied in various lengths.

- We will not print or accept prints that infringe on copyright or make unauthorised use of intellectual property e.g. character prints (Disney, TV shows etc)

Fabric Flaws

- Marks may appear on the fabric during the manufacturing and packaging process. No refunds or discounts will be given for marks that wash out, but please contact us if you are concerned.

- Small holes and pulled threads are common and deemed acceptable on unprinted fabric pieces or within 5cm of the selvedge edge - these are considered minor flaws. No discounts or refunds will be given for these minor flaws. Due to the knitting process these are more likely on the French terry type fabrics.

- Flaws in printing within 5cm of the selvedge edge are deemed acceptable and the ink may spread onto the selvedge edge causing bleed lines.

- Tiny white speckles are considered normal. If the area is large and can be seen from an arm’s distance away we will consider this on a case by case basis and our returns policy will apply.

Shipping Policy

- We attempt to get your parcel out as soon as possible, but please allow 3-5 days for us to process your order

- Shipping is calculated by weight

- Rural shipping will incur an extra fee - please ensure you select the correct option at the checkout.

- If shipping is overcharged for any reason we will contact you to refund or, or if additional shipping is required we will contact you to arrange payment.

- We are not responsible for delays in the postal service and cannot help your parcel arrive any faster

- Please contact us for international shipping rates

Returns and Exchange Policy

No refunds or returns will be accepted:

for change of mind once fabric has been cut (or preorder close date has passed in the case of a preorder)
in the case of a parcel delay

In an unlikely event that you receive the wrong product or it is faulty (see Fabric Flaws in our terms and conditions) please contact us at 3amthreadsnz@gmail.com and we will replace the fabric, or if the same fabric is no longer available you will be offered the choice of another fabric to the same value or a refund. All claims on faulty items must be made within 30 days of purchase (for retail fabric) or arrival (preorder fabric).
